Dec. 30 - I could get used to this

Ab, Eavan and Enda arrive in the morning, so the gang’s all here now.

Our home base for the week is the Galle Face Hotel, which very much reminds me of the King & Prince on St. Simons (not a bad thing). We literally spend all day outside. Breakfast, lunch, high tea and afternoon drinks are all on the verandah. The hotel is by the sea, but the water in this area is not appropriate for swimming. So our strategy is to park it poolside and look at/listen to the waves.
