My social travails in NYC and beyond
Born in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. Grew up on a farm outside of Statesboro, GA (about 45 miles northwest of Savannah). Graduated from the University of Georgia in Athens. Moved to Manhattan in March 1995 - currently living in East Village/Alphabet City. Am addicted to lip gloss. Love hot weather - even humidity! Prefer to be barefoot. Have an extensive collection of very tiny handbags. Really dislike cars and driving.
I'm definitely too old for this crap, but I'm watching the new MTV series The Hills. Basically it reminds me why I'm glad I live in NYC vs. LA, and also why I'm glad that I work in advertising vs. fashion. Total train wreck to see these girls making some of the same mistakes my friends & I did at that age.
