My social travails in NYC and beyond
Born in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. Grew up on a farm outside of Statesboro, GA (about 45 miles northwest of Savannah). Graduated from the University of Georgia in Athens. Moved to Manhattan in March 1995 - currently living in East Village/Alphabet City. Am addicted to lip gloss. Love hot weather - even humidity! Prefer to be barefoot. Have an extensive collection of very tiny handbags. Really dislike cars and driving.
We had a gathering last Wednesday at Le Souk to celebrate Sara & Mel's engagement. You know you’re in for a wild night when a bellydancer arrives at your table before 10 pm. Sara & Mel are off to Texas this week to get hitched, so best wishes to the happy couple!
