New Orleans festivals

Paul Simon performing at Jazz Fest last weekend. NO musicians Allan Toussaint and Irma Thomas joined him on stage for a few songs. My spies report strong attendance both weekends. While this year's fest was poignant because of Katrina, apparently it was also of better quality than ones in recent years.
