Ushering in a new year

The weather in NYC isn't as nice as, say Buenos Aires, but it's still good to be back. I was away for 3 1/2 weeks, which I think is a new record for me. Used the remaining holiday break to be pretty mellow.

Went to Upper WestSide Sunday to have brunch with Robyn and little Eastwood at Citrus. Saw Persepolis, an animated film about an Iranian girl growing up in Tehran during the Islamic Revolution. Entertaining and enlightening.

Spent New Year's Eve at (where else?) Satsko Eldridge. They were packed. It was a fun night - good dinner with a lot of champagne and sake.
