Gettin’ medieval
For the past few months, Grace has been traveling around the city, documenting different neighborhoods on her blog. Chris & I joined her on Sunday on a trip to Washington Heights. This area offers sweeping views of the Hudson River and the George Washington Bridge. Our exploring might have been more enjoyable if it wasn’t 20 degrees outside! We specifically went to see The Cloisters, a collection of medieval artwork that’s affiliated with the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
After grabbing brunch at New Leaf Café in Fort Tryon Park, we returned to Lower Manhattan and spent the rest of the afternoon drinking champagne at festive Felix in Tribeca and watched the Giants game at 12th Street Ale House that night.
