My social travails in NYC and beyond
Born in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. Grew up on a farm outside of Statesboro, GA (about 45 miles northwest of Savannah). Graduated from the University of Georgia in Athens. Moved to Manhattan in March 1995 - currently living in East Village/Alphabet City. Am addicted to lip gloss. Love hot weather - even humidity! Prefer to be barefoot. Have an extensive collection of very tiny handbags. Really dislike cars and driving.
This blog is not meant to be political or religious. However, my social circle in NY is diverse... some folks have relatives in Israel, even in Haifa (close to the border with Lebanon). The current situation in the Middle East is very complicated, but I simply want my friends' families to be safe.
